We were delighted recently to be asked to cater for RegenAG’s ‘You Can Farm’ event at The J, featuring the world famous farmer Joel Salatin. Joel and his polyface farm in Virginia in the US have received much admiration and controversy for his use of organic permaculture principles and his direct marketing approach. He and his farm feature on the popular ‘Food Inc’ documovie and he is currently on an Australian speaking tour.
The remit for the catering was for local and organic produce where possible, breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea for 200 people!
The Quenchers team delivered on all fronts with local/ organic fresh fruit salads topped with granola, Paleo bliss balls and local organic bananas for all. Lunch included delicious salad wraps and individual salad bowls including Bendele Farm organic chicken, Noosa Reds tomatoes, Pomona fresh lettuce and Maleny feta amongst other fine local produce.
Tash’s awesome ball and slice installation capped off afternoon tea and Quenchers received a standing ovation from the delegates for our wholesome and tasty, colourful array of fare.
Big thanks to our talented staff for another successful conference catering and to the growers of the amazing local produce that brought our ideas to life.
Tash and Baz are the bomb when it comes to catering. Healthy, fresh and organic where possible these guys go the extra mile to make sure your event catering is unique, creative and within a reasonable budget. Their easy ‘no fuss’ and ‘can do’ enthusiastic and happy professional approach is refreshing and hugely appreciated. When you are coordinating high profile multiple events in different locations you need people like Tash and Baz on your team. We can’t wait to have the opportunity to work with them again!
